The order of houses and the order in which the mahadasha of different planets come is in such a sequence, which when you crack the logic, you start to appreciate the beauty of it. Ketu is a planet, I won’t go into the detailed history of it, but a remnant of the demon Svarbhanu, with its head being the Rahu and henceforth regulating the mind and all the region below the neck making up the Ketu losing the biological eyes, but activates the Anahata Chakra. But, it isn’t for the love of a woman but for the love of God and everything supernatural if I can use that word. It snatches away all the worldly desires and sometimes in extreme cases, not just the desires but everything you own, from friends, to career.
Now, in my personal experience of the clients, I tend to divide its phase into three parts. One is the beginning, where the individual won’t even realize and they’ll be getting initiated into religious / spiritual things unconsciously, this is a mild stage. Second stage is the middle stage where it’ll bring discomforts, frustrations, but an intense fervor for the almighty, you’ll be actually feeling the love and sometimes when the love becomes too strong, even the visions too, along with a desire for spiritual knowledge as well occult practices, and a sense of detachment. After the second stage, the third stage, the concluding stage is the most intense. If it is placed in the 8th or the 12th house, you might be very receptive to leaving everything and becoming a monk. You do or not, that will be dependent on whole other factors. In these three periods you are exposed to the almighty who turned your eye inwards and to the heavens. Of course, there will be frustrations when you’ll be asked to forcibly give up things by the order of God, but in the third stage, you’ll realize the sweetness of God’s action.
Now, here is the interesting part of logic, when the God takes everything away from you, he slowly and mildly starts giving you back in the next Mahadasha of Venus. Relations, money, sometimes when it is placed well ; fame , and you start to appreciate the beauty in this world. You don’t completely turn away from the god, but it becomes more of a ritual now, with less love, but you still tend to remember the pieces of the Ketu’s lessons.
We all are bound by our karmic debts and the remedies are there which I’ll outline for ketu, in just a moment, but remember remedies DON’T CANCEL THE EFFECTS, they might only lessen the impact. So, take life as a journey, try to find a good personal connection with the lord, and be the Rumi madly in love with him. Because, it’s love which is one constant thing across the species, the natural and the supernatural.
The following is the mantra you could recite, to lessen the impacts of this dasha in the astrological circles, but as I believe will tend to make you go more inwards towards the real you, which will bring genuine peace and happiness within you.. and sometimes VISIONS !!!
palāśa puṣpa saṅkāśaṃ tārakāgrahamastakam
raudraṃ raudrātmakaṃ ghōraṃ taṃ kētuṃ praṇamāmyaham
