In this particular post, we are specifically going to focus on the children & maybe in some other post, we can see it from the perspective of your spouse.
So, the steps are simple, but to read it, requires some exercise of the mind. To read the source of your happiness from your children here are the following steps :
a ) Look at the 5th house and the 5th lord.
b ) Mark all the drishti’s on that house and that lord.
c) Notice the conjunctions, if any.
d) See the Jaimini’s Putrakaraka, and its position in the chart.
Let’s take a real life example of a woman subjected to constant unhappiness from her only son.
In the 5th house, Mars is sitting with Ketu, Mars conjunction with Rahu / Ketu, will cause problems in that particular house. Mars is the lord of the house of Debts ( the 6th house ) signifying her past debts to her son. This is a concept of Rinanubandhan which says the family is a result of our past debts to each other. To know more about it, kindly comment down below. Now, the 5th lord, Venus is again 6th from its house, the house of Debts, sitting with Saturn in the house of Efforts and the Karma Bhava. There is an aspect of the Retrograde Jupiter from the Second house ( related to money ) on the 5th lord, Signifying, usually the conflicts with her would accrue to financial matters. And it will be sort of on & off with her son, but more on the positive side as the Jupiter is both exalted and Vargottama too.
Now, her Jaimini’s Putrakaraka is Mars, which we saw above is sitting with Ketu, confirming the difficulties.
Now, let’s look at her Navamsha chart, In this chart as well, the 5th lord moon, has gone into 6th from its own house, conjoined with Mars and Venus, in the House of Jupiter, signifying disturbances wrt her son, but will not be overwhelmed, as there is a protective cover of Venus and Jupiter’s idealism.
